Evaluation of Documentary film

Documentary Film, Colin Seal
By Jordan and Mikey

The films opens up with a high angle shot of the waves crashing against the sea defence rocks on the coast of Sheringham. The sound of the creates a feel for the viewer that Sheringham could be a small sea side town.

There is a visual pun with the title 'Making Waves', this is because the people who we interviewed arent just ordinary people, these people create waves in the community by being themselves and making Sheringham an exciting place to be.

The use of a sound bridge creates a sense of mystery as you here Colin's voice before seeing him, so this immediately wondering who this person could be

The music which was used could have been changed to fit the theme of the vikings, by maybe getting a viking theme tune or some dramatic adventure music.
